College Decoration Design
Introduction
To make the 25th anniversary more vivid and to create more memorable points for students and guests, I proposed to the school to create large decorations to be placed around the campus. This would allow students to take photos, leave signatures, and make the entire celebration more interactive and atmospheric, enhancing their sense of belonging to the school.
Therefore, I presented relevant suggestions and practices to the school preparation committee, which received unanimous approval, leading to the launch of this project. I also became the main person in charge of this project.
Process
Step1
Conceptual Design
At the beginning, I created a visual rendering of the entire scene to present the expected art exhibition effect to the teachers in the school's 25th anniversary preparation committee, thus starting this project.
There are a total of two large art installations: one is the 25th anniversary logo, and the other is the abbreviation of the school's name.
Step2
Measurement, Finalize Design
In addition to creating the visual renderings, it is also necessary to estimate the dimensions of the installations to determine the detailed sizes of the large art pieces so that they can be placed in suitable locations.
Additionally, I need to select appropriate manufacturers, obtain quotes, and make comparisons in order to proceed to the next step of production.
Step3
Communication and customization
This step involves maintaining communication with the manufacturer to ensure that all design details are implemented. Although many aspects have already been confirmed, I made a small mistake: while the material used for the installation is stainless steel, the internal supports provided by the manufacturer are not stainless steel.
As a result, rust may appear on rainy days, and I have come to realize the importance of this issue.
Step4
Results Exhibition
But in the end, the results showed me that it was all worth it; both the students and teachers really liked the 25th anniversary design.
